BA LL.B (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws)

After completing Class 12, candidates can pursue a five-year integrated LLB program called the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law. In India, the BA LLB undergraduate law program combines a professional legal education with conventional academic study in the arts or social sciences. This allows candidates to study subjects like history, sociology, administrative law, criminology, family law, and so forth while also developing a solid foundation in law. The goal of the BA LLB program is to give students a solid background in liberal arts and legal studies so they can comprehend the legal system and how it affects society. Additionally, it helps students develop the critical thinking and problem-solving abilities that are necessary for success in the legal field. The program offers students a thorough understanding of the law and its application, making it a great option for those who want to work as judges, legal consultants, lawyers, or advisors. There are ten semesters in the five-year BA LLB curriculum. Both legal and arts subjects are covered in the curriculum. The focus of the first four semesters is the arts, and the remaining semesters are dedicated to law subjects. BA LLB at Siddhartha Law College equips students with legal reasoning along with practical exposure to the legal profession through moot court competitions, legal aid clinics, legal aid camps, and internships.

While these career paths have their own set of demands and requirements, graduates can specialize in a variety of legal fields, including criminal law, corporate law, family law, contract law, intellectual property law, and environmental law. Graduates can work in a variety of public and private sector organizations or pursue further education, such as an LLM or Ph.D.
