LL.M
Law
Train to become a legal professional with the LL.M program a rigorous blend of constitutional theory, courtroom skills, and real-world advocacy taught by practising lawyers and senior academics.
Program Overview
The LL.M program is designed for students who want a career grounded in the rule of law whether in courtrooms, corporate boardrooms, policy institutions, public service, or academia. Our curriculum is built around the Bar Council of India framework and extended with electives, clinics, and internships that reflect how the legal profession actually operates today.
Students work through foundational subjects like constitutional law, contract law, torts, criminal law, and jurisprudence in the early years, then move into applied specialisations such as corporate law, intellectual property, alternative dispute resolution, cyber law, and international law. Weekly moot court sessions, legal-research workshops, and client-counselling exercises build the confidence to argue a case from first principles.
Beyond the classroom, every student is expected to complete supervised internships with trial courts, tribunals, senior advocates, NGOs, and corporate legal teams. A dedicated placement cell organises interviews with law firms, LPOs, and in-house counsel teams, while the legal-aid clinic gives students the chance to work on live pro-bono matters for under-served communities in and around the campus.
By the end of the program graduates are equipped to sit for the All India Bar Examination, pursue litigation, join corporate practice, prepare for judicial services, or continue into an LL.M. or doctoral program at a top institution in India or abroad.
