Eligibility

Candidate should possess a three-Year diploma in GNM along with registration under Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM)

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is a 2-year advanced educational program for registered nurses who already have a background in Nursing. Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing aims to enhance the nursing skills and knowledge of these nurses, preparing them for higher responsibilities and leadership roles in healthcare settings. Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing covers subjects like Community Health Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, and Nursing Research.

To be eligible for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, candidates must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects. Also, candidates should be registered as Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM). Once graduated with a Post B.Sc. Nursing, candidates can opt for job profiles such as Registered Nurse, Nursing Instructor, Staff Nurse, Rehabilitation Specialist, Critical Care Nurse, etc.
