M.pharm holders are normally absorbed in research work, to develop new useful drugs, in laboratories and in production work in the pharmaceutical industry and analyzing them for purity and strength. Masters candidates may also take upteaching as a profession as lectures in pharmacy colleges and universities.

Master in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) is a post graduate degree course structured and designed to prepare the students for a career in academic circles as well as the pharmaceutical industry. Pharmaceutics is an innovative course that will helpstudents in learning and understanding the manufacturing process and technologies utilized by pharmaceutical businesses to manufacture pharmaceutical products. Pharmaceutics offers a variety of career opportunities, making it easy for students to pick based on their interests. M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutics can pursue a career in the field of education, where you can do research, teach, and so on. After obtaining an M.Pharm Pharmaceutics degree there are various job opportunities in manufacturing, drug regulatory affairs, drug development and among other fields.

From the beginning of semester students are motivated and advised to find interest in respective area of research. During course the students are suggested to give presentations on area indentified and work plan. One year is fully dedicated to research work and possible outcome will be patent, publications, thesis or dissertation etc. Opportunities for M.Pharm Pharmaceutics graduates exist in many different industries. Graduates of this program can find employment as researchers, instructors, or in the government. After earning an M.Pharm additional study possibilities include pursuing a Ph.D. in pharmacy or another field of specialization.
